Are you paying enough attention to your Google Business Profile?

Why is this a crucial tool for any brick-and-mortar business? ⚙️

We were recently preparing a client brief for a Zagreb-based brick-and-mortar business.

Our goal was to understand the dynamics.

We were motivated by the government-mandated store closures on Sundays here in Croatia. So, we started our research and dug into the data.

We sought insights and numbers on how people interact with local businesses.

What did we realize?

  1. A lot of companies have to pay more attention to Local SEO

  2. You're missing out if you don't have Google Business Profile and Apple Business Connect listings

  3. You're missing out even more if you have them but don't keep them up-to-date

Why are you missing out?

Stand out to your customers

Allow them to get the necessary information and come to you.

Any brick-and-mortar business (or one that serves a geographical area) can benefit from local SEO.

According to Google, Google Maps searches for "shopping near me" have grown globally by more than 100% YoY.

Customers mainly check Business Profiles to see if their local store:

  • is open

  • has a product they're looking for
